What is TFS369? Squad TFS369 has evolved over the past 7 years into one of the strongest distance squads in NSW. TFS stands for Train For Success. The numbers 369 represent: 3 energy systems used to compete in track & field 6 levels of competition 9 number of events coached Squad coach, James FitzGerald (JIMBO) began coaching the distance squad at Westfields Sports High school in February 2003. The squad was the smallest and considered the weakest in the Track & Field program. Seven years later, four of the original squad members are still training and competing as part of TFS369 rolling into 2010.                 The current squad is primarly made up of past and present Westfields Sports students. However the squad changed its training structure and name in October 2007 and has now made itself available to students and senior athletes outside of Westfields. The squad consists of 38 athletes ranging in age from 10 to 43. JIMBO's coaching philosphy is simple: train for your age, development and experience training should be specific training should have variety training should have structure training should be enjoyed train to compete compete with modesty and humility
