What is TFS369? Squad TFS369 has evolved over the past 7 years into one of the strongest distance squads in NSW. TFS stands for Train For Success. The numbers 369 represent: 3 energy systems used to compete in track & field 6 levels of competition 9 number of events coached Squad coach, James FitzGerald (JIMBO) began coaching the distance squad at Westfields Sports High school in February 2003. The squad was the smallest and considered the weakest in the Track & Field program. Seven years later, four of the original squad members are still training and competing as part of TFS369 in 2010. One athletes recently suggested that '369' to him represented: 3 sessions a week with Jimbo 6 hours of time spent together 9 km per session averaged over the year                 The current squad is primarly made up of past and present Westfields Sports students. The squad changed its training structure and name in October 2007 and has now made itself available to students and senior athletes outside of Westfields. The squad consists of 46 athletes ranging in age from 11 to 43.
